Take-Two Interactive is forecasting a highly profitable fiscal year, spanning from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, largely on the back of Grand Theft Auto 6's anticipated November launch. The publisher expects a substantial 20% growth through the middle of the 2026 financial year, with projected revenues reaching $8.2 billion.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is poised to be a major revenue driver, with Rockstar Games estimated to contribute approximately 37% of Take-Two's total income. This projection also accounts for the continued success of established titles such as Grand Theft Auto 5, the second-best-selling game of all time, and Red Dead Redemption 2, along with their associated microtransaction sales.
Zynga, Take-Two's mobile gaming division, is expected to account for 34% of the revenue, while the 2K Games label, featuring annual sports franchises like NBA, PGA Tour, and WWE, is projected to contribute 29%. The NBA 2K series, in particular, has seen considerable success, with NBA 2K26 having an "outstanding" year attributed to robust microtransaction sales. Take-Two highlighted its "live-service execution" as a key factor in the sustained success of its NBA 2K titles.
While games like Judas, Project Ethos, and the next installment in the BioShock series are in development, they currently lack release dates. The next major release from Take-Two is NBA 2K27, scheduled for September 4. An extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6 content is also slated for exclusive presentation on Netflix.
