A prominent Grand Theft Auto VI leaker, known as CyberLeek, has reportedly escalated their actions by threatening to release a complete, playable build of the highly anticipated game. This threat follows the leaker's previous release of approximately 25 minutes of gameplay footage earlier this week.
In a statement posted on their website, CyberLeek outlined a specific condition for the full game's release: their associated cryptocurrency coin must achieve a market capitalization of $30 million. The leaker claims this build would include the entire story mode, playable from start to finish, complete with credits.
CyberLeek further challenged any skepticism by stating that if the claim of a full story mode is doubted, they would provide requested segments to prove it. The demand also presented Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company, with an ultimatum: either cooperate by releasing the game physically and issuing a public apology, or risk the full leak if they believe CyberLeek is bluffing.
Rockstar Games has previously expressed that the leaks were "heartbreaking" and not how they intended for the game to be revealed. Take-Two has actively pursued the individual responsible, including attempting to subpoena Discord for information regarding the leaker's identity. The latest footage released by CyberLeek reportedly includes scenes of frontal nudity and topless characters, appearing to be legitimate despite an emblem overlaid on the video.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
