The individual behind the notorious GTA 6 leaks, operating under the pseudonym Cyberleek, has resurfaced with new gameplay footage. Following a period of silence after the game's extended reveal, Cyberleek has been posting grainy clips of the game's female protagonist, Lucia, in various scenarios. These leaks come as part of a continued effort to inflate the market capitalization of a cryptocurrency tied to the leaker's identity, the $Cyberleek coin.
Recent footage shared by Cyberleek includes scenes of Lucia driving, engaging in hand-to-hand combat, interacting with an ATM, and participating in the parachuting mini-game. A significant portion of this new leak features Lucia entirely unclothed. The leaker has previously threatened to release a playable build of Grand Theft Auto 6 if their associated meme coin reached a $30 million market cap. The current strategy appears to be using the "naked Lucia" content to incentivize further investment in the crypto scheme.
Cyberleek has also been polling online communities for suggestions on what to leak next, promising more extended and detailed versions of the "naked Lucia" footage based on the cryptocurrency's performance. Observers note that the leaked footage appears somewhat unpolished, suggesting it may originate from an older build or a debug mode. In these clips, in-game characters do not react to Lucia's nudity, further fueling speculation that this is not representative of how such scenarios would function within the final game.
The leaker has also made demands of Take-Two, stating that the company could prevent the release of further leaks by issuing a disc version of the game and issuing an apology to players. This has been interpreted as a disingenuous attempt to appear pro-consumer, especially given Cyberleek's past actions. The leaker previously disappeared after allegedly profiting around $250,000 from a crypto dump. With Grand Theft Auto 6 slated for release, Cyberleek appears to be aiming for a significantly larger financial gain this time around. The $Cyberleek coin currently holds a market cap of approximately $4.75 million, a substantial increase since the leaker's return, but still far from the $30 million target.
