GTA 6 Promo Beers Appear in US Government Database

Rockstar Games is reportedly set to release a line of Grand Theft Auto 6-themed beers, with labels for Pißwasser, Patriot, and No Mames Vice City discovered in the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau database. The collaboration appears to be with Florida-based brewery Tripping Animals Brewing. This news was first reported by GTA site GTAVice.net.

The "No Mames Vice City" label was approved on October 9, followed by the Pißwasser and Patriot labels on October 15. The "No Mames Vice City" beer is described as a 6% ABV American lager, a rebranding of Tripping Animals' existing "No Mames" lager. According to the brewery's website, it is "bright gold and effortlessly crisp," blending flaked corn and traditional malts for a smooth, dry taste with subtle floral hops and a hint of sweetness.

The "Patriot Beer" is listed as a 4.2% ABV American lager. While specific tasting notes for this variant are not yet available, its label design has been compared to brands like Sam Adams and PBR, and its name evokes in-game parodies of American consumerism.

"Pißwasser," a long-standing in-game beer brand in the Grand Theft Auto series, is specified as a 4.2% ABV lager, more precisely a pilsner. Its label also appears in the TTB database.

While official confirmation from Rockstar Games or Tripping Animals Brewing is pending, the presence of these labels in a government database strongly suggests the promotion is moving forward. The collaboration aligns with Rockstar's history of extensive marketing campaigns for its major releases, particularly for Grand Theft Auto 6. The brewery's existing "No Mames" lager has received positive reviews, suggesting the GTA-themed versions could also be well-received.

Distribution for Tripping Animals Brewing's products appears to be limited primarily to the Miami area. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on consoles on November 19, and it is expected that the promotional beers will become available around the same time.
