The recently released extended look at Grand Theft Auto 6 has provided a wealth of new confirmed songs for the game's soundtrack. These tracks span various genres, from electronica-infused retro hits that evoke the game's Vice City-inspired setting of Leonida to modern rock anthems suitable for cruising.
Several artists have also teased or confirmed their participation in the GTA 6 soundtrack. Travis Scott, for instance, posted GTA 6-style imagery on Instagram, fueling speculation about his music's inclusion. Morgan Wallen also shared an image in the game's distinctive art style. Panama and Poolside's track "Back to Life" was reportedly mentioned by Panama in a deleted Instagram comment and later appeared in GTA 6 leaks. Skrilla, whose track "Kodak Black" was featured in the extended trailer, has previously stated that his song "Doot Doot" would be in the game. Neon Indian has hinted at continued collaboration with Rockstar Games following his music's appearance in GTA 5. Rumors suggest Freddie Gibbs may be involved, with content creator HipHopGamer referencing a "major rapper" featured in a side mission who coincidentally hurt wrestler CM Punk during filming. ScHoolboy Q seemingly confirmed his return to the franchise in a Twitter reply, stating, "Ima be on there, don't even trip." T-Pain confirmed in early 2024 that he is working with Rockstar Games on GTA 6, explaining that he had to cease his involvement with a GTA role-playing server due to a conflict of interest.
Megan Thee Stallion shared a behind-the-scenes video from a photoshoot featuring a backdrop similar to GTA 6 promotional art, though she later used the same footage in an advertisement for her tequila brand. Ski Mask the Slump God posted on Instagram that both he and the late XXXTentacion have tracks in GTA 6, without specifying which songs.
Beyond these artist confirmations and teasers, leaked footage has also revealed potential soundtrack additions. Tracks identified from leaked footage include "Bills Paid" by DJ Khaled ft. Latto and City Girls, "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas, "For What It's Worth" by Stevie Nicks, and "Million Dollar Baby" by Tommy Richman, among others. Notably, Rockstar has added Stevie Nicks' "For What It's Worth" to its official GTA 6 playlist on Spotify.
The game is also expected to feature a variety of radio stations, including returning formats like V-Rock and WorldWide FM, alongside new additions such as Cocoteo FM for Reggaeton/Latin music and Stockyard FM for pop. Some of these titles originate from leaked footage and are subject to confirmation.
