Grand Theft Auto Online is set to receive its next major heist update, the Kortz Center Heist, on July 14. This new content will allow players to engage in elaborate art theft, culminating in the pilfering of paintings from a Los Santos museum.

The Kortz Center Heist will require players to first establish an art studio. Within this studio, a counterfeiter will be tasked with recreating the artworks that players intend to steal. Following this, players must scout the Kortz Center, meticulously documenting the paintings on display and planning their infiltration and exfiltration routes without alerting security. This reconnaissance phase involves taking photos of the artworks on the museum walls.

Players can undertake the heist solo or team up with up to three other players. According to Rockstar Games, additional crew members may assist in a more successful escape with stolen goods. A character named Raf will serve as the players' point person, providing intelligence and coordinating plans. The heist is described as an opportunity for players to either sell the stolen artwork or display it in their in-game mansions.

Rockstar Games has teased several unique paintings that players can expect to acquire, including parodies of famous works such as David Hockney's "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)" and an L.S. Lowry-inspired piece featuring San Andreas characters. A Baroque-style artwork based on Grand Theft Auto 4's "Deal" ending is also mentioned. The developer promises variety, with three new paintings available to steal each week and multiple approaches to the heist.

The Kortz Center Heist is launching for Grand Theft Auto Online on July 14. The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. This update aims to provide continued content for players awaiting news on Grand Theft Auto 6.
