Rockstar Games is set to release the next major heist for Grand Theft Auto Online, titled "The Kortz Center Heist," on July 14. This marks the first significant new heist introduced to the game since the Cayo Perico Heist in 2020. The upcoming update will task players with stealing valuable artwork, involving a storyline centered around Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis.

Players will have the opportunity to acquire an Art Studio for their in-game properties. This studio will house a "gifted counterfeiter" who will create forgeries, allowing players to replace the stolen art with fakes. The Kortz Center Heist is designed for both solo players and teams of up to three others, though Rockstar notes that heists are generally more engaging with a coordinated group.

The multi-stage heist will begin with players scouting the Kortz Center to determine the best approach for an undetected infiltration. Following this, players will gather necessary equipment before proceeding to the art theft itself. The mission emphasizes stealth, encouraging players to eliminate any witnesses and erase CCTV footage.

To enhance replayability, the heist will feature three different paintings to steal each week, and Rockstar has stated there will be "tons of variability" in mission approaches. The update also introduces new vehicles to GTA Online and upgrades through Hao's Special Works. Additionally, GTA+ subscribers will receive the Grotti Veleno GT car for free starting on July 14.
