Bandai Namco is preparing to release Gundam Rogue Orbit, a new entry in the franchise that will debut as a video game rather than following the traditional anime-first approach. The game was featured during the September PlayStation State of Play broadcast, providing a closer look at its features and a collector's edition.

Gundam Rogue Orbit is set to launch on March 5, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A collector's edition, priced at $160, will be available for fans looking to acquire exclusive physical and digital content. This edition includes a High-Grade model kit of the new Gundam Helix mobile suit, which will be exclusive to the game.

High-Grade Gundam model kits are typically 1/144-scale figures designed for ease of assembly, featuring moderate detail and durable construction with minimal foil stickers. The HG Helix model is described as having numerous panels and mechanical details, making it a potentially engaging build. The collector's edition also comes with a poster, reversible cover art, a pack of five promo cards, a steel game case, and DLC that provides 14 different color patterns for the Helix mobile suit within the game. The game itself will also feature cosmetic shells that can be applied to the Helix, including an RX-78-2 skin and a red Zaku-inspired design.
