Halo: Campaign Evolved is set to launch on July 28, bringing the original Halo's adventure to a modern setting with new missions and huntable Skulls. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one, though access depends on the subscriber's tier. Players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription will be able to play Halo: Campaign Evolved immediately upon release. Those not subscribed to these tiers will find the game available on Game Pass at a later date. Game Pass Premium subscribers can expect the title to be added to their library within a year of its release, but details for Game Pass Essential subscribers remain unannounced.

Anyone not specifically preordering the game will not receive additional bonuses, irrespective of their Game Pass subscription level. Subscribers who wish to access the game early and gain new in-game customization options can upgrade to the Premium Edition for $20, which allows play to commence five days prior to the official launch, starting July 23.
