Halo: Campaign Evolved Board Game Announced for 2026

Mantic Games and Halo Studios are partnering to bring a new tabletop experience to fans with Halo: Campaign Evolved – The Board Game. This upcoming adaptation is inspired by the ground-up remake of the original 2001 campaign, Halo: Campaign Evolved, which is slated for release in October 2025. The board game is currently scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Like its video game counterpart, the board game will offer both solo and two-player cooperative modes. While specific gameplay mechanics, components, and pricing details have yet to be revealed, Mantic Games has described the project as an "action-packed board game." The publisher has prior experience adapting established franchises to the tabletop, including titles like Umbrella Academy, Hellboy, and Invincible.

Mantic Games has an existing presence in the Halo tabletop universe with Halo: Flashpoint, a miniature skirmish game released in 2024. Designed by Andy Chambers, this game aims to recreate Halo's multiplayer combat with detailed miniatures and objective-based missions. Mantic has continued to support Halo: Flashpoint with expansions and new releases, making a campaign-focused board game a logical progression for their tabletop lineup.

Further information regarding Halo: Campaign Evolved – The Board Game is expected later this year. Given the planned Q4 2026 release, more details will likely emerge in the coming months. Major tabletop gaming conventions, such as Gen Con in late July, could also serve as platforms for future announcements. The video game, Halo: Campaign Evolved, is set to release on July 28 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
