Hasbro has revealed its first wave of The Legend of Zelda action figures, coinciding with the start of San Diego Comic-Con. The new figures are based on character designs from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, offering fans a tangible connection to the critically acclaimed game.
The collection includes six-inch scale figures of Zelda and Link, each boasting over 20 points of articulation for dynamic posing. The Zelda figure comes equipped with a Decayed Master Sword and an interchangeable sword grip hand. Link's figure includes a Hylian shield, the Master Sword, and an interchangeable Zonai power hand. Both the Link and Zelda figures are priced at $28 and are available for preorder starting July 22 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.
Joining them is a 7.5-inch Ganondorf figure, also inspired by his Tears of the Kingdom appearance. This larger figure, priced at $43, also features over 20 points of articulation. Ganondorf includes the Gloom Sword with a scabbard and an interchangeable sword grip hand. Like the Link and Zelda figures, the Ganondorf figure is available for order starting today.
In addition to the new toy line, the article notes future entries in The Legend of Zelda franchise. A new remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is reportedly coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 this year. Furthermore, a live-action The Legend of Zelda movie is slated for a 2027 release from Sony Pictures and Nintendo. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is set to portray Link, with Bo Bragason playing Zelda. Wes Ball, known for The Maze Runner and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, is directing the film, which is filming in New Zealand at locations previously used for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings franchise.
