Helldivers 2 is making the M-103 Supply FRV, a versatile four-wheeled vehicle, available to all players as a free unlock in October. This vehicle was initially offered as a reward for participation in the "Census Thunder" galactic campaign in June. Arrowhead Game Studios has stated that players who earned the Supply FRV during that earlier campaign have "enabled the rest of your comrades in arms to access this equipment in October."
The M-103 Supply FRV is the third variant of the game's offroad truck. It is equipped with an automated turret for defensive capabilities and a supply rack capable of providing eight full restocks of ammunition and equipment for Helldivers. The other variants include the standard FRV, which features a mounted machinegun, and the Incinerator FRV, armed with a flamethrower.
This rollout of the Supply FRV marks the first instance of a stratagem reward stemming from Arrowhead's revamped galactic campaign system. This system, introduced in June, replaced the prior objective-based structure in an effort to provide players with a more engaging experience and better opportunities to contribute to the game's collective objectives. The overhaul was part of Arrowhead's broader commitment to addressing player feedback regarding the live-service shooter.
The second galactic campaign, "Lightning Intercept," is currently active, challenging players to destroy an Automaton orbital platform. While the details of the next campaign remain undisclosed, Arrowhead has announced that a Warhammer 40,000-themed Warbond is scheduled for reveal on July 30.
