Developer Ludogram has announced Heroes Never Die, a new fantasy strategy game for PC slated for release in 2027. The game aims to blend the popular survival genre mechanics of titles like Vampire Survivors with elements found in strategy games such as Heroes of Might and Magic. Its design focuses on integrating tactical decisions, real-time army construction, and the use of powerful fantasy heroes.

In Heroes Never Die, players will select from over 20 unique heroes, each possessing distinct skills. The core gameplay loop involves battling not only enemy hordes but also rival heroes. A central aspect of progression involves upgrading the player's town through resource gathering and combat. The game will also feature four distinct factions and over 60 different unit types, with developers promising significant replayability through varied runs.

"We’re delighted to finally announce Heroes Never Die, a project we’ve been working on in the shadows for a couple of years," stated creative director Edouard Gaudel. "We cannot wait to see our first players fighting hordes of monsters, and evolving their armies while meeting our heroes. Don’t forget to join our upcoming Playtest!"
