HoYoverse's popular RPG Honkai: Star Rail is reportedly set to introduce characters from the Fate/stay night franchise in version 4.4. Leaked information indicates that Rin Tohsaka, a 5-star Quantum character aligned with The Erudition path, and Gilgamesh, a 5-star Lightning character of The Destruction path, will be available via a new Fate-themed banner event starting on July 24.

This crossover event will feature a distinct banner that does not share pity with existing limited-time character banners, though it is expected to remain available for an extended period.

Rin Tohsaka's Abilities and Materials

Rin Tohsaka is described as a 5-Star Quantum character. Her kit includes a basic attack, 'Bajiquan,' which deals Quantum damage to a single target. Her Skill can either target a single enemy with 'Jeweled Sword Zelretch' or an area of effect with 'Second Magic Experiment.' The latter consumes 'Gem Energy' and can trigger multiple hits, with its effectiveness tied to Skill Point consumption. Her Talent, 'Gem Magecraft,' enhances allies' Critical damage when they consume or recover Skill Points and generates 'Gem Energy' for Rin Tohsaka. Her Ultimate, 'An Gal Ta Ki Gal Šè,' deals significant Quantum damage to all enemies, recovers Skill Points for allies, and increases enemies' damage taken. Bonus Traces enhance her maximum Skill Points, provide offensive boosts upon entering combat, increase her Speed after using an enhanced Skill, and grant 'Gem Energy' upon using her Ultimate.

To fully upgrade Rin Tohsaka's stats, players will need specific Ascension materials, including Thief's Instinct, Usurper's Scheme, Conqueror's Will, and Sneering Harlequin, alongside Credits. Trace materials required to level up her abilities include Tracks of Destiny, Destroyer's Final Road, Celestial Globe, Cosmic Sandpit, and Galaxy Framework, also requiring a substantial amount of Credits.

Her Eidolons offer significant enhancements. E1 provides a 'Shadow Gem' mechanic for her enhanced Skill. E2 boosts her Skill damage and that of her allies. E3 and E5 increase the levels of her Skill, Basic Attack, Talent, and Ultimate. E4 offers stacking Critical damage boosts under specific conditions. E6 significantly increases her All-Type Resistance Penetration and grants an extra turn upon using her Ultimate, alongside generating 'Gem Energy.'

Gilgamesh's Abilities and Materials

Gilgamesh is detailed as a 5-Star Lightning character specializing in The Destruction path. His Basic Attack, 'Halfhearted Blow,' deals Lightning damage to a single target. His Skill, 'Gate of Babylon,' allows him to ignore a portion of enemy defense and damages adjacent targets. The Ultimate, 'Enuma Elish,' unleashes widespread Lightning damage with multiple instances. His Talent, 'Amuse Me to the Fullest,' increases his Ultimate damage and grants 'Interest' points when allies use their Ultimates, which in turn increases his Speed and can trigger an 'Interest Piqued!' state that locks him into using his Skill. A joint follow-up attack with Saber is also mentioned, triggered by accumulating attack tallies.

Ascension for Gilgamesh requires materials such as Extinguished Core, Glimmering Core, Squirming Core, and Thunder Strum, along with Credits. Trace materials include Tracks of Destiny, Guardian's Lament, Omnicolor Fool's Own, and Sixen King Rook Fork, also necessitating a significant credit investment.

Gilgamesh's Eidolons provide further utility. E1 extends his Skill's defense-ignoring effect to allies and boosts his attack. E2 grants him initial 'Interest' points, enhances his Skill damage, and increases damage to adjacent targets. E3 and E5 upgrade his Skill, Basic Attack, Ultimate, and Talent levels. E4 increases his Energy Regeneration Rate. E6 boosts his Ultimate's bounce damage and allies' All-Type Resistance Penetration, with additional damage buffs for his Ultimate based on 'Golden Rule' points.

It is important to note that all details regarding character kits, materials, and Eidolons are based on leaked beta information and are subject to change before the official release in Honkai: Star Rail version 4.4.
