Hot Toys has released its first wave of action figures for the forthcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, offering fans an in-depth look at the costumes for several key X-Men characters. The collectible company's detailed 1:6 scale figures showcase new designs for Magneto, portrayed by Ian McKellen, and Gambit, played by Channing Tatum, among others.
The initial lineup includes James Marsden as Cyclops, Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and Ian McKellen as Magneto. Doctor Doom will also come with a separate throne accessory. Sideshow Collectibles has also displayed figures of Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, and a Sentinel, though these are not yet available for preorder.
Mckellen's Magneto appears in a costume heavily inspired by his comic book appearances, featuring the character's iconic red and purple helmet and suit. Tatum's Gambit costume is a darker, more muted version compared to his previous appearance, aligning with the reported grittier tone of Avengers: Doomsday.
Both standard and Deluxe Edition versions of these figures will be available. The Deluxe editions include additional accessories and more elaborate display bases. Notably, the Deluxe Cyclops figure comes with a removable leather jacket, evoking a 1990s X-Men aesthetic.
These figures are scheduled for release between October 2026 and December 2027. The standard Doctor Doom figure is designated as an "Early Access" release, with a guarantee of delivery before the film's December premiere. Preorder links for the figures are available through Hot Toys.
Avengers: Doomsday is slated for release in December.
