Acquiring the Duet Deviation
Duet is an entirely new Deviation, differing from the existing Morphed variants. To obtain Duet, players must defeat The Sunken Lord, the signature boss of the Isles of Abyss expansion. This boss encounter is only accessible during the second phase of the expansion's scenario. The first phase typically lasts between five to ten days, with its duration influenced by the server's purification progress. Following this, the second phase continues for approximately 11 days. As purification advances, the endgame challenge featuring The Sunken Lord becomes available. Obtaining Duet is not guaranteed, as it drops as a chance-based reward rather than assured loot. Duet possesses the unique ability to alter weather conditions within a designated territory in real-time, affecting both players and their constructed facilities.
Finding New Morphed Deviations
While awaiting the chance to challenge The Sunken Lord for Duet, players can pursue eight new Morphed Deviations introduced with Isles of Abyss. The acquisition of these new variants is tied to activities featured within the expansion. The new Morphed Deviations and their methods of acquisition are as follows:
- Space Turner - Water Cube: Obtained from the Water Cube event.
- Sea Calamity Zone: Found in the Sea Calamity Zone event.
- Snow Globe - Sunken Treasure: Acquired from the Sunken Treasure event.
- Calamity Nest: Found within the Calamity Nest event.
- Employee No. H37 - Submarine Attitude: Obtained via the Submarine Attitude event.
- Voyagers: Found during the Voyagers event.
- Chaos - Rebecca: Acquired from the Chaos Tower.
- Shattered Maiden - Sailor Suit: Found within the Sailor Suit event.
- Director Fox - Vacation: Obtained from the Vacation event.
- Gingerbread House - Oceanic Cottage: Acquired during the Oceanic Cottage event.
- Whalepup - Don't Get Wet: Found within the Don't Get Wet event.
Similar to Duet, there is a chance involved in obtaining these Morphed Deviations. However, these activities are generally more common and appear frequently as players explore the Isles of Abyss.
