The Arc Raiders Phantom Targets event presents players with several objectives, many of which involve dealing damage to ARC foes with specific equipment. Before tackling these, however, the initial step requires upgrading three cargo elevators. These are not distinct structures but rather the extraction elevators found on various maps.
Players can identify these large, industrial elevators by a tall antenna extending from one of their upper corners. Approaching this antenna will reveal a prompt to interact and upgrade it. Completing this upgrade is one of the three required for the event. Players do not need to upgrade all three antennas in a single raid; the progress carries over between matches, allowing players to upgrade one per extraction across three separate runs.
Cargo Elevator Locations
Cargo elevators are exclusively located on the Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Riven Tides maps.
Dam Battlegrounds features four cargo elevators. The bottom three on this map are situated relatively close to each other, potentially allowing for all three upgrades within a single in-game run.
Spaceport also has four cargo elevators. While the number of elevators might suggest completing the objective in one go, the map is an open environment with a high presence of ARC enemies and other players, increasing the risk of engagements and snipers.
Riven Tides, due to its smaller size, contains only two cargo elevators. This means players cannot complete all three required upgrades in a single raid on this map. However, the two elevators are in close proximity, making it feasible to upgrade both during exploration.
