Among the newly announced titles is Magenta Down, a sci-fi survival game from 2 Ton Studios, creators of Unto the End. Set to release in 2027, the game tasks players with scavenging resources and battling alien threats on a harsh exoplanet. Also premiering in 2027 is Waveling Island, a cozy creature-collecting game featuring hand-drawn pixel art and a tropical island setting, where players can train creatures, befriend residents, and rebuild the island.
Croak, a hand-drawn 2D platformer, is slated for March 2027 and will be available on day one with Game Pass. Players control the Frog Prince, utilizing a sticky tongue for traversal and rolling mechanics. Mr. Records, a music-based platformer from Glee-Cheese Studio, is expected in Spring 2027 and will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC.
Chronoscript: The Endless End, a hand-drawn search action game, will arrive on Xbox in Summer 2027, in addition to its previously announced PS5 and PC versions. Developer Titan1Studios announced Love is a Roguelike for Fall 2027, described as a deck-building strategy sci-fi western inspired by "50 First Dates" meets "Edge of Tomorrow." Drill Keeper, a blend of roguelike deckbuilding and tower defense, will also be a Game Pass day one title in Summer 2027.
Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game, a sinister deckbuilder voiced by Matt Mercer, is set for an Early 2027 release and will be available on Game Pass day one. Players navigate a deadly corporate office, strategically flipping cards to survive and climb the ranks. A Game About Digging A Hole Together, the multiplayer sequel to the viral minimalist hit, is scheduled for December 4, allowing up to four players to cooperate on a beach excavation.
Scramble Knights Online, formerly Scramble Knights Royale, shifts its focus to co-op exploration and MMO-lite elements, with dungeons, monsters, and loot. It launches October 26 and will be a Game Pass day one title. Paper Shredder, a game where players shred confidential documents for a payout, is slated for Winter 2026. Vanran, a dark fantasy RPG with Souls-like combat, will arrive in Early 2027, focusing on a human rebelling in the Demon Realm.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Rustown is a story-driven action game scheduled for June 30, 2027, challenging players to survive among infected citizens. Red Kiss, a tactical narrative RPG about vampire dispatch in Cold War-era Berlin, will be a Game Pass day one release in 2027. Graytail, a top-down detective adventure where players search for a missing pilot while managing a persistent headache, is due in November 2027.
Two notable remasters are also on the horizon. The Wolf Among Us Remastered receives a new story trailer ahead of its October 29 release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, Switch, and PC. The cult-favorite tie-in game Shrek 2 Remastered will launch on November 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, Switch, and PC, featuring improved visuals and new features like a photo mode.
Additionally, Zero Parades: For Dead Spies - Director’s Cut will launch on November 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This updated version includes significant content additions, voice-over improvements, and new gameplay features, with Xbox receiving it as the default version.
