IDW Publishing has revealed "Godzilla Versus Everything," a major crossover event set to launch in March 2027. The four-issue miniseries will unite the casts of IDW's Kai-Sei era Godzilla comics, including the flagship "Godzilla" title, "The Deadzone," "Starship Godzilla," and "The Horror of Godzilla."
Written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Fero Pe, "Godzilla Versus Everything" will feature Godzilla in its most powerful form, threatening to destroy the world. The disparate heroes from IDW's connected Godzilla universe must band together to prevent this global catastrophe. Seeley stated that the crossover fulfills an early vision for the Kai-Sei line, which began in 2025, aiming to create a shared universe with interconnected stories and characters.
The buildup to the event will begin in March 2027 with "Godzilla" #17, which serves as the final issue of that series. Preceding issues that contribute to the crossover's narrative include "Starship Godzilla: Invasion X" #1, "Godzilla: Revenge of the Deadzone" #1, and "Godzilla" #13, all available for preorder.
This announcement follows other recent IDW news, including "The Road to Sonic #100" initiative in their "Sonic the Hedgehog" series and the reveal that Grant Morrison will write a new "James Bond" comic.
