IGN has partnered with Best Buy for a series of giveaways designed to help players upgrade their gaming setups in anticipation of Grand Theft Auto VI's release on November 19. The promotion will offer thousands of dollars worth of prizes, including televisions, headsets, controllers, and monitors.
The giveaway event will run from October 26 to November 13. Each weekday during this period, a new giveaway will be added to the IGN Rewards page, starting with a PlayStation Portal. Participants can enter by logging into the IGN Rewards page, selecting the sweepstakes, and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Each week will culminate in a grand prize drawing on Friday, featuring a themed bundle of multiple items. One such bundle, the "Do Not Disturb" package, includes an LG 65-inch OLED TV, an LG soundbar and subwoofer set, Govee TV light strips, and a vinyl copy of the GTA VI soundtrack. Entry into the daily giveaways automatically qualifies participants for the weekly grand prize draw.
The promotion also includes an in-person event at Best Buy's store in Torrance, California, on November 14. This event will feature the unveiling of a new gaming experience and an additional in-person giveaway hosted by IGN. All giveaways are open to U.S. residents aged 18 and older, with exclusions for residents of Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, and New York. Winners are limited to one prize across the three-week giveaway window, subject to additional terms.
