IGN is partnering with Toyota to present a dedicated gaming booth at the upcoming Los Angeles Comic-Con. The collaboration aims to bring attendees together for shared gaming experiences and entertainment.
The expansive 40' x 50' booth will feature a Toyota Grand Highlander and serve as a central hub for activities. Visitors can expect a lounge area equipped with a couch and a large screen TV, accommodating up to four players simultaneously. Additional standing gaming stations will also be available, including Nintendo Switch 2 setups placed inside a custom-wrapped Grand Highlander, where attendees can play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
A highlight of the event will be a stage show on October 30 at 6 p.m. This segment will involve selecting Comic-Con guests to form teams that will compete against AEW wrestler Kofi and his chosen crew in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The show is open to all Comic-Con attendees.
Leading up to the convention, IGN will release content featuring Kofi, documenting a road trip in the custom Grand Highlander to the Los Angeles Convention Center. Upon arrival, the vehicle will transform into a mobile gaming studio for the competition.
Beyond the gaming challenges, the booth will offer opportunities for photos at a step-and-repeat backdrop and giveaways of exclusive merchandise. The IGN and Toyota gaming booth will be accessible throughout Los Angeles Comic-Con, which runs from October 30 to November 1.
