Evil Empire's Triple-i Initiative Showcase, a platform dedicated to independent games, is set to return on October 8 for its fall presentation. Following a successful spring event, the showcase will once again prioritize a direct presentation of game content with its recurring theme of "No ads, no host, just games." The 45-minute broadcast aims to feature world premieres, gameplay reveals, release date announcements, and other updates for approximately 40 titles.
The initiative, now in its third year, has grown significantly and focuses on a curated audience. Benjamin Laulan, head of business at Evil Empire, previously explained that the limited number of slots, around 40, is necessary to maintain the event's format and pacing within its 45-minute runtime, especially when considering the high volume of submissions received, often exceeding 300.
This year's showcase will include eight exclusive world premieres and provide updates on highly anticipated games such as Hela: of Mice and Magic, Militsioner, the new Among Us title, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, Haunted Paws, and Outward 2. Attendees can also expect to see content from titles like Dave the Diver, Risk of Rain 2, and the PvE pirate survival game Windrose.
The Triple-i Initiative Showcase will be broadcast across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Steam, bilibili, and niconico, beginning at 12 p.m. ET on October 8.
