Insomniac Games and Arc System Works are collaborating on a cross-promotional costume swap between their upcoming titles starring Marvel's Wolverine. Insomniac's PlayStation 5 exclusive, Marvel's Wolverine, will feature a cel-shaded costume inspired by the design in Arc System Works' fighting game, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
This costume exchange was revealed during the Marvel's Wolverine: Deep Cuts panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Insomniac shared concept art for the Tōkon-inspired suit, which is slated to arrive in Marvel's Wolverine as a cosmetic option. While the suit has not yet been seen in-game, its appearance in concept art has contributed to discussions about Wolverine's character proportions in Insomniac's title, with some players noting its depiction as shorter.
The collaboration will also see Insomniac's "Battle Reborn" suit for Wolverine appear in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. This costume will be added to Arc System Works' fighter on September 1. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is set to launch on August 6.
