A card shop owner in Japan's Gifu Prefecture has placed a 1 million yen bounty, equivalent to approximately $6,100 USD, for the capture of an individual who burglarized their store and stole a significant amount of Pokémon and One Piece trading cards. The reward comes with a peculiar condition: the thief must be apprehended "alive" and "breathing."

The incident occurred on July 22nd at the Kaitorip Game shop in Seki city. The owner reported the burglary on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the shop was ransacked and a large quantity of stock was stolen. Operations were temporarily halted, and customers who had planned visits were apologized to for the inconvenience.

A subsequent post from the shop featured CCTV footage of the masked perpetrator inside the store. This post garnered significant attention, particularly due to the owner's explicit request that the thief be returned alive to claim the full bounty. When questioned by users about the thief's condition affecting the reward amount, Kaitorip Game clarified that the full 1 million yen would be paid as long as the individual was still alive.

As of this report, the thief has not yet been apprehended. The shop is actively seeking information to aid in the capture.
