Jim Caviezel, known for his roles in "The Passion of the Christ" and "Sound of Freedom," is set to star in the upcoming action-thriller "Ghost Soldier." "Ghost Soldier" sees Caviezel stepping away from his more religiously-themed characters to portray a former Special Forces soldier. According to the film's synopsis, his character, Henry “Fitz” Fitzgerald, lives a quiet life off the grid until a powerful foreign corporation, Brownstone Interworks, attempts to seize his community's land. Fitz, described as an "old-school green beret with advanced military training," retaliates using advanced weaponry and stealth technology.
The film's marketing highlights Fitz's use of futuristic gear, including an invisibility cloak and advanced night vision, drawing parallels to the stealth and tactical elements found in games like "Ghost Recon Future Soldier" and "Splinter Cell."
