Sucker Punch has revealed that Jin Sakai, the protagonist of 2020's Ghost of Tsushima, will return as a playable character in an upcoming roguelike DLC for Ghost of Yotei. The new mode, dubbed "Most Wanted," was showcased during a PlayStation State of Play livestream and is described as a combat survival experience.
Most Wanted will feature four distinct playable characters, including familiar faces from Ghost of Yotei such as Atsu, Oyuki, and Nagato. Jin Sakai's inclusion marks his first playable appearance since his original starring role. In this mode, players will select one of the four samurai, each equipped with unique weapons and abilities, to embark on a quest to hunt down the Yotei Six. Defeating each of the Six will yield rewards in the form of coins, which can then be used to upgrade the chosen samurai for subsequent runs through the roguelike challenges.
