Wolf Haus Games has unveiled over eleven minutes of new gameplay for its upcoming open-world co-op title, Join Us, during gamescom 2026. The cult simulator, previously announced for PC and Xbox Series X/S, will also be available on PlayStation 5 at launch in March 2027. The new footage offers a detailed look at the game's mechanics and cooperative features, which will be accessible in both the campaign and free roam modes for up to four players.
In addition to the extensive gameplay demonstration, developer Wolf Haus Games released a distinctive trailer featuring four individuals who have previously been involved in real-life cults. This trailer shows them playing Join Us in a co-op setting, reflecting on their past experiences while reacting to the game. The participants, Jaga, Javier, Ariel, and Elena, collectively bring over 50 years of experience from various unique societal groups, including one preparing for an alien arrival, another focused on martial arts and self-defense, and a third centered on holistic rejuvenation.
Join Us tasks players with leading their followers while keeping them content to prevent them from leaving. The developer emphasized that "a cult leader without any followers is just a lonely weirdo," highlighting the importance of maintaining a loyal recruit base.
