Disney's official fan club, D23, will host a special panel dedicated to the Kingdom Hearts series as it approaches its 25th anniversary. The first game in the RPG franchise, a collaboration between Disney and Square Enix, launched in 2002. The panel, titled "Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts," is scheduled to take place during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event next month, from August 14 to August 16.

The event listing promises a look at "how this saga united Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix, with insights from the creative minds, character voices, and more behind the magic." While the panel appears to focus on the series' entire history, there remains a possibility that new information regarding the upcoming Kingdom Hearts IV could be revealed. The game recently made an appearance during a Nintendo Direct presentation, where it was confirmed to be a simultaneous console and PC release, including for the Nintendo Switch 2.

This year's D23 event is also expected to feature updates on upcoming Disney films like Avengers: Doomsday and retrospective panels for classics such as Beauty and the Beast. However, specific details about other anticipated games like Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra or Motive Studio's Iron Man have not been mentioned in the announced schedule.
