In a message posted to their official X account, the studio stated that such "unsubstantiated speculation" has affected fans, creative partners, and colleagues. They encouraged skepticism regarding claims that did not originate from official sources. According to Kojima Productions, the studio is in a "healthy, profitable state," and development for "Physint" continues. Notably, the statement confirms that the game is proceeding with Xbox as a development partner, while simultaneously maintaining a strong relationship with PlayStation.
Previous reports indicated that Sony had ceased collaboration on "Physint," with the game subsequently finding a new publisher in Xbox.
