Konami is collaborating with internet-famous feline 'one-eared Uno' and her owner Kat Curtis to release a collection of Metal Gear-themed cat toys. These items will be available at CatCon 2026, an annual convention for cat enthusiasts held in Pasadena, California.
The merchandise includes cat scratch boxes designed to resemble the iconic cardboard boxes used by Snake for stealth, plush pet toys, and collars inspired by Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The collection aims to let pet owners' cats emulate the stealthy antics of the series' protagonist. IMAGE1
One-eared Uno, a rescued stray known for her distinctive underbite, boasts a significant following across social media platforms with her owner, Kat Curtis. They are scheduled for a meet-and-greet at the Konami booth during CatCon on October 12 at 2 PM PST. The convention itself runs from October 10 to 11 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Fans can purchase the limited-edition merchandise at the convention and online through the OKS Gear Shop. To celebrate the release and the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, Konami is offering attendees a chance to win exclusive merchandise or meet Uno. Visitors can enter by showing proof of ownership for the Master Collection Vol. 2, adding it to their wishlist, or purchasing Metal Gear merchandise at the Konami booth.
This unique collaboration coincides with the release of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, a compilation of classic stealth-action titles launching on August 17, 2026. The collection will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. IMAGE2 IMAGE3 IMAGE7 IMAGE6 IMAGE5
