Netflix's animated hit KPop Demon Hunters is set to receive a new physical release next month, offering fans a unique way to experience the film's story. In addition to a Criterion Collection edition, Netflix is collaborating with Penguin Random House to launch a comprehensive comic book adaptation.

This new release, titled KPop Demon Hunters: The Official Screen Comic Boxed Set, is a substantial 704-page collection presented as a two-volume graphic novel. The adaptation reconstructs the animated movie by utilizing frames from the film, arranged in comic book panels complete with dialogue and sound effects. This format allows fans to delve into every scene and panel of the story at their own pace, distinct from the original animated presentation.
The deluxe boxed set includes the full song lyrics from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, featuring tracks such as "Hunter's Mantra" and "Jinu's Lament." The packaging boasts a holographic foil slipcase and two paperback volumes, each with foil-stamped covers. The spine design is intended to highlight the dual nature of the protagonist, Rumi. Additionally, the set contains foldout posters of the group Huntr/x and their rivals, the Saja Boys.
The KPop Demon Hunters: The Official Screen Comic Boxed Set is priced at $60 and is scheduled for release on November 3. This date coincides with the launch of the KPop Demon Hunters Criterion Collection edition, available on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Blu-ray.

Netflix has been actively expanding the KPop Demon Hunters franchise since its initial success, which included over a billion hours viewed and a record-setting streak on the streamer's top 10 charts.
