Gallner made his interest known shortly after Paramount announced the film's development. He posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter) featuring a haircut similar to V's in the game's promotional materials, with the caption "Take me to night city." This move has garnered enthusiasm from fans, with many expressing support for his potential casting alongside Keanu Reeves, who voices Johnny Silverhand in the game.
Details regarding the plot and casting for the "Cyberpunk 2077" movie are currently scarce. However, CD Projekt Red co-CEO Michał Nowakowski confirmed that more information will be shared at an appropriate time, stating that Paramount is a suitable partner for the franchise's creative ambitions.
