Lara Croft is embarking on a new adventure, crossing over into the world of G.I. Joe to mark the iconic character's 30th anniversary. Hasbro has revealed a new six-inch action figure of the tomb raider, complete with a variety of accessories. The collaboration, first teased in May, was officially shown during a special stream hosted by the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel and Dan Larson of Secret Galaxy.

The Lara Croft figure includes her signature dual-wielding pistols, reminiscent of her early appearances, as well as a bow and arrow and ice picks, which became prominent in the Survivor Trilogy. Further details regarding the figure's price and release date are expected to be shared at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 23, during a Hasbro press breakfast.

This figure notably features the unified look for Lara Croft, a design rolled out by developer Crystal Dynamics and IP-holder Embracer Group in recent years. This appearance first debuted in Call of Duty and has since become Lara's de facto visual representation across most media. The unification aims to reconcile the distinct timelines of the Tomb Raider franchise: the 2013 reboot series (the Survivor Trilogy) and the original games starting in 1996. The Survivor Trilogy is now intended to serve as a prelude to the Lara Croft known from the original 1996 title, creating a single, coherent chronology.

While the G.I. Joe figure is one of several initiatives celebrating Tomb Raider's anniversary, the main event is slated for 2027. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a remake of the original game, has been delayed from 2026 to next year, 2027. This title will be the first Tomb Raider game developed by Crystal Dynamics since 2018's Shadow of the Tomb Raider and is intended to solidify the connection between the Survivor Trilogy and the original games. Following this, a new, entirely original Tomb Raider game, tentatively titled Tomb Raider: Catalyst, is scheduled for release later in 2027. This new installment is set to take place after 2008's Tomb Raider: Underworld, which currently stands as the most recent entry in the franchise's new unified timeline.
