The latest addition to LEGO's Architecture series, the Tower Bridge set, is now available for preorder. This 3,745-piece model, designated set number 21067, aims to recreate the famous London landmark with a high level of detail.
The set is priced at $349.99 and is slated for an August 1 release. While many retailers list the set at its full price, some, including Walmart, have offered it at a discounted rate of $50 off, though Walmart's stock has reportedly already sold out.
Upon completion, the Tower Bridge set measures over 13.5 inches high, 35 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. Key features include centrally located bascules that can be positioned either open or closed, representing the bridge's ability to lift for ship traffic. The model also incorporates a blue suspension walkway and a coat of arms, a detail that LEGO notes is a tribute to a previous Tower Bridge set.
To enhance the display, the set includes microscale elements such as cars and a double-decker bus, which can be positioned on the bridge. The base of the model represents the River Thames, completing the scenic display.
This new iteration contains fewer pieces than a previously retired LEGO Tower Bridge set, which originally featured 4,295 pieces. The recommended age for the 21067 set is 18 years and older. Interested builders are advised to secure their preorders quickly due to early sell-outs reported at some retailers.
