Lego Star Wars and Classic Double Fine Titles Lead Final October Game Pass Departures

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will see a significant portion of their library disappear at the end of October, with Microsoft confirming the latest wave of titles leaving the service on October 31st. The departures include popular titles like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and several beloved classics from Double Fine Studios.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, a comprehensive title that spans all nine main films in the Skywalker saga with the signature Lego charm and co-op gameplay, is among the notable departures. Fans will want to experience this entry before it becomes unavailable on the service.

In addition to The Skywalker Saga, two classic point-and-click adventure games from Double Fine, Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Full Throttle Remastered, are also set to leave Game Pass. The studio recently returned to independent status. Another departure to note is Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.

Other games leaving Game Pass on October 31st include Dead Static Drive, Deep Rock Galactic, Wartales, and Wildgate.

This follows the first wave of departures on October 15th, which saw the removal of games such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Crime Scene Cleaner, Donut County, Evil West, Nova Roma, Pacific Drive, and Superball.

These changes come amid ongoing adjustments to Xbox's strategy. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has reportedly communicated that the current Game Pass model has contributed to the platform's 'freefall,' indicating a strategic shift to enhance player value while managing company resources.
