Videogame development simulator Let's Build a Dungeon is set to launch into early access on February 11, 2027. The game tasks players with managing a videogame studio and developing an MMORPG.
Let's Build a Dungeon combines elements of a management simulator with an RPG maker. Players will be responsible for hiring developers, assigning tasks, and making decisions regarding work conditions, such as whether to implement crunch time. In addition to managing the studio, players will also be directly involved in the game's development, deciding on the placement of in-game elements like enemies, roads, and shops.
The game's trailer, shown during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026, highlights the player feedback loop. If the MMORPG being developed is poorly received, players will face in-game reviews criticizing features and requesting additions. Common player demands seen in the trailer include requests for more environments, bosses, quests, and improved server performance.
The developers aim to offer a meta-commentary on the game development process. Let's Build a Dungeon is available to wishlist on Steam.
