The third annual Ludwig’s Streamer Games, hosted by creator Ludwig Ahgren, concluded on August 2 with 40 prominent online content creators competing in a variety of physical challenges. The event, held at USC’s Allyson Felix Field in Los Angeles, saw increased international representation among its participants compared to previous years. Alienware served as an official partner, providing attendees with merchandise and opportunities to engage with gaming hardware.
The competition featured eight teams: USA, UK, France, Canada, Mexico, Worldwide, All-Stars, and Alumni. Despite temperatures reaching the 90s, the energy remained high, supported by commentary from Peter (premier two) and Slime. The diverse lineup of games included Paper Airplane Toss, 100-Meter Dash, Musical Chairs, Archery, Volleyball, Crate Stick, Cubert Toss, Bull Riding, Half and Half, Dodgeball, Simon Says, and Football Shootout.
At the Alienware booth, attendees could try their hand at a mouse-click speed challenge, aiming to surpass the official world record of 760 clicks per minute set by Yigox. Harry Lu achieved 798 clicks on Day 1, and Terrance Lee set a new unofficial single-click record of 788 clicks on Day 2, both earning an Alienware 16 Area-51 Gaming Laptop for their efforts. Additionally, the Alienware Arena challenge allowed selected attendees to compete one-on-one against Ludwig. Luis Bustamante competed in archery and received an AW3926QW monitor, while Kortney Keys defeated Ludwig in mechanical bull riding to win an Alienware 16 Area-51 Gaming Laptop with OLED.
Team Worldwide secured first place overall, with Team All-Stars taking second and Team Mexico finishing third. The event concluded another successful year, with anticipation building for future iterations.
