Sony has revealed the latest batch of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for October, headlined by narrative crime prequel Mafia: The Old Country and the critically acclaimed open-world action RPG Horizon Forbidden West. These titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.
Mafia: The Old Country, which received an 8/10 from IGN for its writing, world-building, and performances, offers a linear story experience. The game recently received an expansion that adds further narrative content. Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Guerrilla's popular action RPG, garnered a 9/10 at launch and is considered one of the PlayStation 5's premier first-party titles.
Additionally, the co-op looter shooter Mycopunk is set to join the catalog, providing a new option for players looking for multiplayer experiences. The catalog also welcomes Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, The Midnight Walk, Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn Edition, and Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game.
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also gain access to classic titles, including Capcom's survival horror game Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, both available from October 20.
