Amazon is currently offering substantial discounts on Magic: The Gathering's Universes Beyond: Marvel Super Heroes set, providing an opportunity for players to acquire booster packs, bundles, and preconstructed Commander decks at reduced prices. This sale comes ahead of the next Marvel-themed Magic release, "Marvel: Darkhold Destiny," slated for April 2027.
The "Marvel Super Heroes" set, which introduced characters from the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and other iconic Marvel franchises into the popular trading card game, has been a point of interest for both existing Magic players and Marvel fans. The upcoming "Darkhold Destiny" set is expected to explore a darker, more supernatural side of the Marvel Universe, offering original storytelling within the game's framework.
Among the deals, a Play Booster box is available for $147.95, a 28% reduction from its usual $209.70 price, bringing the cost per pack down to approximately $4.93 from the $6.99 MSRP. For those seeking rarer cards, Collector Boosters are priced at $44.99 each, with a full display box costing $449.99.
Bundles offering a mix of packs are also discounted. The Marvel Super Heroes Gift Bundle, which includes nine Play Boosters and one Collector Booster, is available for under $80 after a $10 discount. The Draft Night bundle, featuring 12 Play Boosters and a Collector Booster, is 25% off at $89.99. Additionally, the Marvel Super Heroes Bundle, akin to older "Fat Packs," is 27% off, offering a collection of boosters.
Several preconstructed Commander decks based on the Marvel Super Heroes set are also on sale. The "Avengers Assemble" deck is priced at $54.90, down from $74.99. "Doom Prevails" is available for $67.38, a 10% discount. The "Fantastic Four" deck has seen a $30 price reduction, now selling for $44.99.
