Preorders for Magic: The Gathering's upcoming Star Trek Commander decks are now live, with a bundled offer presenting a considerable saving for those looking to acquire the entire set. The collection, set to fully launch on November 13, features four preconstructed 100-card decks themed around the Star Trek franchise.
Purchasing the four-deck bundle for $224.97 on Amazon results in a savings of approximately $75, as acquiring each deck individually would total $300. This bundle deal is notably more cost-effective than the previously released Marvel Super Heroes Commander decks. Each Commander deck is a ready-to-play product, incorporating characters, art, locations, and lore from Star Trek's 60-year history.
This Star Trek set marks the final mainline and Universes Beyond release for Magic: The Gathering in 2026, concluding what is described as the most crowded year of releases in the game's history. It serves as a commemorative set for the series' 60th anniversary and will include collectible chase cards such as new Autograph cards.
Beyond the Commander decks, the Star Trek suite of products includes other ways to engage with the new cards, such as Collector booster packs, which offer a chance to pull the Autograph cards, and two new Scene Boxes that depict iconic moments from the television shows and films.
