Mario Kart World is receiving a free update today that reintroduces classic tracks from the series' inaugural installment. Players will now be able to race on these throwback courses in Vs. Mode, with 10 tracks in total available. Among the returning environments are Choco Island, Vanilla Lake, and Ghost Valley.
The classic mechanic of driving over Question Mark panels to acquire items has also been implemented on these retro courses. In addition to the classic tracks, the update also introduces two new routes to Knockout Mode: Propeller Rally and Turnip Rally. These additions offer players new content to engage with, potentially drawing them back to the game for more kart racing action.
