Marvel Rivals has introduced a new summer-themed swimsuit skin for Captain America, dubbed 'Seaside Sentinel,' which has quickly become a topic of conversation among players due to its revealing design. This Epic skin, available in the hero shooter until July 31, draws inspiration from Captain America's appearance in the 1992 Marvel Swimsuit Special.
The in-game description for the skin humorously notes Captain America's purported grilling skills, stating, "The beach crew voted Captain America should man the grill, just like the red, white, and blue-blooded specimen of American masculinity people believe he is. Unfortunately, his skills on the grill were not nearly as calculated as his shield throws." While the outfit appears relatively tame from some angles, other perspectives highlight specific design choices that have drawn significant attention from the game's community.
The attention around the Seaside Sentinel skin reflects Marvel Rivals' history of offering revealing and distinctive cosmetic options for its roster of Marvel heroes. The character's anatomy in the skin has been a particular point of discussion online, with players noting the extensive detail given to the character's swimwear. This has led to widespread discussion and reaction within the Marvel Rivals player base.
