Insomniac Games has expanded the cosmetic options for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 with the addition of two new suits. The "Fresh Start" suit for Peter Parker is now available, aligning with the release of the latest MCU film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Additionally, a suit inspired by the upcoming fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has also been implemented, offering a surprise visual flair to the game.

The Fresh Start suit offers a clean aesthetic, though it bears some resemblance to existing outfits within the game. In contrast, the Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls suit boasts a distinct visual design that stands out. These new additions were announced by Sony in June, with the Brand New Day-themed suit initially revealed as an upcoming inclusion.

Beyond new suits, the latest update introduces several minor technical enhancements. The game now supports Enhanced PSSR on PlayStation 5 Pro and has integrated a Power Saver Mode. These updates arrive as Marvel's Spider-Man 2 continues to be recognized as a prominent title in the superhero genre.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest cinematic adventure for the character, is set to release in theaters on July 31. It follows Peter Parker's journey after the events of No Way Home, exploring a world where his identity as Spider-Man is unknown to his loved ones. The film introduces a new antagonist portrayed by Sadie Sink. The movie has received critical acclaim, with one review noting it as potentially surpassing the quality of earlier Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man films.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PC.
