Insomniac Games has released a new update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, adding two new costumes for players to equip. The suits are inspired by the upcoming "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" and the Arc System Works tag fighter "Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls."

The "Fresh Start" suit is inspired by "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which is set to release soon, while the Marvel Tokon suit replicates Spider-Man's appearance from the fighting game, which launched in early August. These additions arrive as the game continues its strong sales performance, having sold over 2.5 million copies within its first 24 hours of release in 2023 and surpassing 5 million copies shortly after.

Beyond the new cosmetic items, the update also introduces support for Enhanced PSSR (PlayStation 5 Super Resolution). This technology aims to improve image upscaling quality and stability, resulting in a better visual presentation without compromising performance. Additionally, the update includes power saver support, allowing players to enjoy extended play sessions while potentially reducing electricity consumption.

Mention of "Spider-Man season" suggests a period of significant releases and events related to the character. The inclusion of these new suits and technical enhancements offers players fresh content and an improved visual experience for Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
