Numerous clips from Insomniac Games' upcoming title, Marvel's Wolverine, have started appearing online in the weeks leading up to its release. These leaks reportedly include footage of boss fights, unlockable content, and the final moments of the game, potentially spoiling the experience for fans.

The game features the titular mutant battling augmented Reavers, Sentinels, and members of The Hand, alongside familiar characters such as Jean Grey, Sabretooth, Mystique, and Lady Deathstrike. Unlike Insomniac's Spider-Man titles, Marvel's Wolverine is designed as a linear, level-by-level action game rather than an open-world experience.

This latest incident follows a challenging road to launch for the PlayStation 5 exclusive. A significant leak originating from the ransomware collective Rhysida occurred in 2023, introducing the game to the public and initiating what has been described as a period embattled by online criticism. The current leaks appear to involve full copies of the game circulating online, though it remains unclear whether these originated from retail copies breaking street dates, promotional materials, or digital theft. The leaked footage does not seem to be connected to any extortion scheme, unlike the 2023 leak or the recent Grand Theft Auto VI incident.
