Marvel's Wolverine features two post-credits scenes that open the door for potential sequels, teasing the involvement of the classic X-Men villain Apocalypse and hinting at the formation of his Four Horsemen.

The first post-credits scene shows Sabretooth discovering a functional Helix Engine, a device used within the game to activate dormant mutants. This discovery is prompted by the voice of Apocalypse, which has been influencing Sabretooth since he himself utilized the Helix Engine.

Apocalypse, or En Sabah Nur, is a formidable foe in Marvel lore, recognized as one of the world's first mutants. He possesses immense power, including molecular restructuring, superhuman strength, and potent psychic abilities. In the game's continuity, he appears to be gathering his legendary Four Horsemen, a group representing famine, death, war, and pestilence. While Sabretooth seems to be positioned as one of these figures, the identities of the other three remain unrevevealed.

During the game, Wolverine himself was revealed to have been the Horseman of Death at one point in his long life, a mantle he nearly reclaimed before Jean Grey intervened, burning Apocalypse's influence and most of Logan's memories from his mind.

The second post-credits scene, which requires players to complete all Nightmare Door trials with at least a bronze rank, offers a glimpse into the past. Set 75 years before the main story, it depicts Logan and Jean Grey on the farm where they once lived. Jean recounts their initial meeting hundreds of years prior, detailing how she first purged Death from his psyche. The scene concludes with a tender moment between the two, a rare happy memory from their many shared lifetimes.

At the conclusion of Marvel's Wolverine, Logan's memory has been wiped, leading him to depart from Jean and her allies in search of his lost identity. The game's setup strongly suggests that these lingering plot threads and character resurrections could pave the way for future installments if Insomniac opts to continue the story.
