Arc System Works has announced that Blade, Loki, and Deadpool will join the roster of its forthcoming tag-team fighting game, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The reveals were made during Evo 2026.
Blade, a hero, will utilize his Muramasa blade for close-quarters combat while employing guns and throwing knives for ranged attacks. Loki, a villain, is set to employ a flaming sword, a staff reminiscent of the one that contained the Mind Stone, and a variety of other trickster tactics. An Asgardian stage has also been unveiled alongside the character.
Deadpool, known for his fourth-wall-breaking antics, appears to retain a move set similar to his appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. His kit is expected to feature comedic dialogue and fighting game references, including a rendition of Mortal Kombat's "Toasty!". Nolan North reprises his role as the character, having previously voiced Deadpool in the 2013 video game.
These three characters, along with the previously confirmed Ghost Rider, will form a team known as the Samurai Outriders within the game's narrative. They are set to face off against rival factions, including the Fighting Avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Panther), the Knights of Doom (Doctor Doom, Magneto, Carnage, Green Goblin), the Unbreakable X-Men (Wolverine, Magik, Storm, Danger), and the Amazing Guardians (Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Peni Parker).
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is scheduled to launch on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
