Arc System Works and Sony Interactive Entertainment have unveiled the remaining Year 1 DLC fighters for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, with Jane Foster's Thor, Venom, and Jubilee slated for release in 2027. These characters will join the previously announced Phoenix Cyclops, who is set to launch on November 2nd.
Year 1 DLC Lineup
The full roster of downloadable content for the first year includes Phoenix Cyclops, followed by Jane Foster's Thor in Winter 2027, Venom in Spring 2027, and Jubilee in Summer 2027. This selection spans various eras and corners of the Marvel universe, offering a diverse range of characters for players.
While gameplay footage for Jane Foster's Thor has not yet been shown, a trailer depicted her confronting Loki on the game's Asgard stage. This marks Jane Foster's Thor's second appearance as a playable video game character, following her inclusion in Marvel's Avengers in 2022.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has previously shown a tendency for unexpected character choices, such as featuring Shuri's Black Panther instead of T'Challa and an Un-Usurped Cyclops. Venom is a more conventional addition, and he will arrive with a new Klyntar-themed stage.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is currently available on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. To access the Year 1 DLC characters, players can purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition or acquire the base game along with the Year 1 Character and Stage Pass separately.
