Arc System Works and PlayStation have unveiled the final team joining Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, confirming Blade, Deadpool, and Loki as the last additions to the playable roster. This announcement was made at Evo 2026, alongside the confirmation of an open beta for the game.

The newly revealed Samurai Outriders team features an unusual alliance, showcasing Blade, Deadpool, and Loki in action. A trailer demonstrates their abilities, with Deadpool delivering his signature meta-commentary.

With these additions, the complete launch roster for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is now set at 20 characters. The full lineup includes Storm, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulk, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Green Goblin, Carnage, Ghost Rider, Blade, Deadpool, and Loki. While no post-launch character plans have been revealed, this day-one roster offers a substantial selection.

Following significant fan demand, an open beta for PlayStation 5 and PC has been confirmed. This beta will run from July 24th to July 26th, allowing players to practice combos before the game's official release. Blade will be among the characters available during this testing period, which will also feature new stages and additional game modes.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is designed as a 4v4 tag team fighter with a focus on competitive multiplayer. However, it will also include a single-player Episode Mode that delves into character "team dynamics and lore." The game aims for accessibility, as noted in a preview last year, which described Marvel's new fighter as "exceptionally accessible."
