As Grand Theft Auto 6's highly anticipated release approaches, Rockstar Games and Take-Two are ramping up marketing efforts. One notable promotion involves the Miami Heat, who have announced a "Vice City Night" for their upcoming game against the Milwaukee Bucks on November 18.
For this special event, the Miami Heat will adopt Vice City-themed uniforms and play on a "never-before-seen court." The team's arena will also feature "special game night activities" and exclusive merchandise. The event is described as a "historic partnership" that will take place on the eve of Grand Theft Auto 6's launch. The takeover will be broadcast live on ESPN.
Fans can already purchase Grand Theft Auto 6-themed clothing and merchandise from the Miami Heat store, including hats and T-shirts. One shirt appears to be a direct reference to the outfit awarded for achieving 100 percent completion in the original Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, though it has already sold out.
GTA 6 fans have also observed ongoing construction at the Miami Heat's arena, where a large "Welcome to Vice City" sign has recently been completed and illuminated. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox.
